Pride month’s over, but here are more queer books in rainbow order that I like.

Even though I read 10 Thing That Never Happened as an ARC and reviewed it over a year ago, I just started to listen to the audiobook and I really forgot how funny this book is. Add to that the narrator's perfect British accent for the main character and I am having a blast.

So if you like a M/M romance with some really fun tropes such as faking amnesia, fake relationship, rivals to lovers, flawed characters, set at Christmas time. Highly recommend. Also it's by Alexis Hall who wrote Boyfriend Material if that also helps to sell it.

Thinking about Jonathan calling Sam to the store one day bc he’s having a plumbing issue of some sort and Jonathan:

A) being unable to function watching Sam be So Masculine And Good With His Hands And So Competent That He’s Going To Have A Stroke Over How Hot It Is

B) telling himself he’d be professional but being unable to function bc his man is so fucking beautiful and right there and he can’t *not* call him darling and kiss him a thanks while he writes a check

C) (“what the fuck are you doing John?” “…you did me a service. This kind of thing happens a lot when you own a retail store this is standard enough rate, yeah? You didn’t quote me” “yes Jonathan that’s because I Live In Your House and I’m engaged to you you’re not paying me for this. I’ve fixed your parents pipes- I’ve fixed our plumbing a half a dozen times.” “Yes and this is a business transaction” “you just kissed my cheek, this is calling your fiancé to do you a favor” “samwise-“ “I hate you” “take the fucking check samwise” “the fuck am I going to do with it? D) Jonathan having to explain to his employees that (“what was that all about?”) that plumber was his fiancé. And they’re all 30% shocked Jonathan’s gay, 30% shocked Jonathan has a serious partner, 30% shocked Jonathan’s serious partner works, and 10% shocked his partner is working class

E) Jonathan taking an impromptu mid day break to insist they get a quick lunch together, and Sam is 50% shocked Jonathan is taking a break during the work day and 50% flattered

F) Sam nearly dying of embarrassment as Jonathan introduces him “ah, you haven’t met my fiancé” to everyone they pass.
